The abduction of Tom Fox and the others members of the Christian peacemaker team

I don't know Tom Fox personally but news of his abduction has affected me more than any other. During last Sunday's Meeting For Worship, many spoke about him and his courage through the quicksand that is this Middle East conflict. Sadly a happy ending to this episode is unlikely, but it is more feasible than a peaceful reconciliation for all sides--I think we're too late for that. CNN has reported that the Christian Peacemaker Team's captors have extended the deadline for release of all Middle Eastern political prisoners in the U.S. and the U.K. until Saturday in order to save the men's lives and that's something to be hopeful about.
